If you’re thinking of studying an NTS course, it’s good to know some background information about the course delivery, student support and assessment methods that are available with NTS. Starting a course can be somewhat difficult to fit into your everyday life. We understand that you may have other important commitments including employment and family. Online study makes it easy to fit learning around your everyday commitments. Our online learning platform has been specifically designed with your training and assessment needs in mind, providing you with a quality learning environment wherever you may be. Online learning provides you with all the resources you need for each specific unit of competency you are enrolled in. This allows you to complete your course in your workplace or in the comfort of your own home, with quality support from your trainer.
We pride ourselves on the support that our trainers and assessors provide to our students. As our courses are delivered online, we offer a range of opportunities for you to engage with your allocated trainer where you can ask questions, gain clarification about assessment tasks or request some further training or explanation on challenging concepts in the learning material. During your course, you are able to book an online individual support session with your trainer. You will be provided with a booking link at the beginning of your course.
As part of the application process, you will be required to take the time to tell us a bit about yourself and your experience and why you want to do this course. This will help us to assist you in choosing the most relevant electives for your course.
On the Application Form, you will also select the method by which you wish to be assessed for each unit. We use a range of methods to deliver training and assessment to you, based on your level of knowledge and/or experience for each unit. Please understand the assessment method may be changed in discussion with your trainer.

You will need to provide us with a copy of your Academic Transcript / Record of Results or Statement of Attainment. In order for us to verify the information, we will need you to provide access for us to view your USI transcript (for study completed after 2015).
